The 3rd generation sensorless brushless motor controller released!

In Jan. 10th 2010, Nanjing Lishui Electronics Research Institute (www.lsdzs.com) announced that their latest development on sensorless motor controller got a big success. This
controller can seamlessly match over 98% brushless motor in the e-bike market. About 200 different sensored and sensorless motors with rated voltage from 24V to 48V and rated
power from 200w to 800w have been tested one by one with this controller. The result is exciting, the maximum efficiency of the drive system has been improved 2% to 5% by more
accurate commutation time, which means the continuous driving distance could be raised by 5km to 10km.

There is also a big improvement on the zero speed start up performance, which is worried by most technicians when talking about sensorless controller. The e-bike equipped with this
controller can start up very smoothly with 80kg rider on the flat road. Even on an 8 degree slope, the e-bike can still go up without obvious vibration.

According to the after sale service statistics, over 60% of the motor malfunction is caused by the three hall sensors, which could be damaged by static electricity or high temperature
during working. If the motor doesnt need the hall sensor, the failure rate could be greatly reduced. This is a good news for both motor and e-bike manufacturers. Behind this
